Well, Hello!

Old Man Rivers Table & Tavern is a small eco-conscious neighborhood tavern serving elevated, local Southern cuisine and full-service bar featuring creative cocktails and local beers and wine. Located at the foot of Signal Mountain, we are invested in developing relationships with folks in our neck of the woods from Mountain Creek Road, Signal Mountain, Red Bank, and Suck Creek.

We offer traditional dining for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. Our chef selects local sustainably resourced products and in-season vegetables, so our dinner menu rotates weekly and lunch menu daily. Each week’s menu is uploaded to our website each Wednesday before 11am.

Our focus is on people and our mission is to provide a small friendly atmosphere to facilitate meaningful and fun in-person exchange over drinks and locally sourced delicious food. We ask that our customers unplug from their digital devices and connect to each other and our small staff of servers and bartenders, and perhaps enjoy an old fashioned, the Old Man Rivers way.

Our bar area offers streaming services to air local and regional sporting teams and events, premier league soccer, and will be Chattanooga’s spot to cheer for the Irish.

And from paper to food waste, we compost nearly everything! In fact, this year we’ve already diverted nearly 10,000 pounds of compostable waste using New Terra’s services. 💪🏼 - Around the restaurant, we have plants courtesy of @foxandfernstyle 🪴 Out front we grow our herbs fresh in our garden - often used in your cocktails, enjoyed on the porch. Who else is excited for Chef’s summer porch herb butter to return?!? 🤤 - Being eco-conscious has been a mission of Old Man Rivers and we will continue to get even better with our practices! Alcohol is a very large part of the restaurant industry, but we sell experience here at Old Man Rivers! What an EPIC year 2023 was for us! 🎉 We ♥️ you Chattanooga!! - We’ve created amazing memories, flavorful dishes, beautiful cocktails, and, now, a little experience under our belts! 🤠 #notourfirstrodeo - This January has already been an amazing kickoff to the year! We’ve hosted our first coursed private event, covered our outdoor patio (soon to be gas heated), and added more members to our team as we grow. 🧀 - In 2024, we are geared up to cook new things, try different ideas, and meet even more Chattanoogans than ever. 🍽️

It was also an opportunity for our staff to take the day off and bond over the culminated hard work we’ve put into this restaurant for the last 6 months. So many of our regular faces showed up to support too!
